Why You Need A Church Family

Each week over 110 million people go to church somewhere in America. Let me put that into perspective. If you take all the people who have ever gone to a basketball game, ever gone to a football game, ever gone to a baseball game, tennis match, or any public sporting event and you added them all up in a single year, that would not equal the number of people who go to church on a single weekend. More people will be in church this weekend than will go to all the sporting events combined in America in an entire year. For many of those people they have no idea why they attend church. Some of them go out...

REMAIN IN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD

SCRIPTURE FOR MEDITATION Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.   PRACTICING THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF GOD’S PRESENCE The sin of the fallen angels is that they abandoned fellowship with God. The reason for their creation was fellowship with God. They had no other responsibility. Their duty was to worship God daily from morning till evening. Lucifer was chief of these worship angels. As long as they carried out this responsibility, they were honoured, glorified and had their place in heaven. When they decided to abandon the purpose for their creation, they fell out with...

Fear: currency used in the devil’s supermarket...

Did you know that Fear is the major currency used in the devil’s supermarket? Haven’t you wondered why the stuff you fear the most happens to you. Even Job, a diligent man of God declared in Job 3:25 that the thing I feared the most has come upon me. This is why any time God wanted to do something remarkable, He always declared DO NOT BE AFRAID. A story is told of a man who went to Church on Sunday and gave a testimony that he was infected with ebola and God had healed him. When he had finished, he tried to give the microphone to the 2nd man but the 2nd man refused to take it: 2ND...

The Way to God

Sometimes God steps suddenly into our lives He loves us so much that he wants us to know him. His plan is to give our life a real purpose and to have fellowship with us eternally. Although this is a wonderful plan, we choose to go our own way, cutting ourselves off from God. We do what is wrong and don’t care about the fullness of life that God has in store for us. This is called sin and it creates a big gap between God and us. We cannot please God with good deeds or by being religious We can never bridge the gap ourselves. All our own efforts are in vain. God is holy and righteous....
